LibreOffice 3.6.0 Beta 2 Is Available for Download
The Document Foundation has announced on
June 22nd that the second Beta release of the upcoming LibreOffice 3.6.0
office suite is available for download and testing.
LibreOffice 3.6.0 Beta 2 is here to fix various bugs reported by testers
from the previous Beta release. A detailed changelog can be found here.
"The upcoming 3.6.0 will be our fourth major release in two years, and comes with a nice set of new features."
"Please
be aware that LibreOffice 3.6.0 Beta2 is not ready for production use,
you should continue to use LibreOffice 3.5.4 for that." - said Thorsten Behrens in the email announcement.
These facts are really interesting. Few of them were well known for me but many of them were brand new for me too! I will print this one out and show to my friends because they will be definitely interested in that. Thanks! LibreOffice
