Kororaa Linux 17

Chris Smart has announced the release of Kororaa Linux 17, a Fedora-based distribution optimised for desktop computing: "It is my pleasure to announce the release of Kororaa 17 (codename 'Bubbles') which is now available for download. Derived from Fedora 17, this release comes with the usual Kororaa extras out of the box, such as: tweaked KDE and GNOME base systems; experimental support for Cinnamon desktop in GNOME; third party repositories (Adobe, Chrome, RPMFusion, VirtualBox); Firefox as the default web browser (with integration theme for KDE); instant messaging client (Kopete for KDE, Empathy for GNOME); micro-blogging client (Choqok for KDE, Gwibber for GNOME); full multimedia support; Adobe Flash plugin installable via package manager...." Kororaa 17 Is Now Available for Download

Chris Smart proudly announced earlier today, July 16th, the immediate availability for download of the final and stable release of the Kororaa 17 Linux operating system.

Dubbed Bubbles, the Kororaa 17 distribution is based on the Fedora 17 (Beefy Miracle) operating system, and comes distributed as separate editions with the GNOME 3.4 desktop environment and KDE Software Compilation 4.8.

Kororaa 17 includes features like Linux kernel 3.3, VLC Media Player as default media player, Mozilla Firefox as default web browser, Adobe Flash Player, Empathy and Choqok microblogging clients, Kdenlive and OpenShot video editors, SELinux enabled by default, as well as out-of-the-box multimedia support.

Kororaa 17 is distributed as Live DVD ISO images  separate GNOME/Cinnamon and KDE editions, for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
