Changes:
* Fixed reported issues with needing service packs, compatibility with incorrect OS.
* Fixed a range of issues which could have led to crashes on startup and in-game.
* Fixed reported issues of audio dropouts when no audio device was plugged in, or when the headphones/speakers disconnected while in game.
* Fixed reported issues of mouse being sluggish, especially in prone and Shootdodge™. Increased top end range of mouse sensitivity, but kept the slider from 1-10, allowing the user more range in their sensitivity setting.
* Fixed reported issues of mouse acceleration affecting aiming, included commandline option to disable mouse acceleration, -nomouseaccel (In a future update, this will be added as an option in the Mouse Controls menu).
* Fixed reported issues of game locked in incorrect aspect ratio, or alt-entering and having incorrect aspect ratio. Added commandline option for locked aspect ratio as commandline option -aspectratio width:height (ie. -aspectratio 4:3 / -aspectratio 16:9) In a future update, this will be added as an option in the Graphics menu.
* Fixed reported issues of the video card reporting having 0MB of video memory available. Users unable to adjust Graphics options because of this (Also helps fix stuttering on some video cards).

Assassin’s Creed 3 E3 demo shoots deer, fights wolves, ruins a bored man’s cuppa

Assassin’s Creed 3 put in a good showing at the Ubisoft conference earlier with some balanced in-game footage showing life in the wilds, some man on dog combat (a regular sight already at E3), camp life and a spot of assassination. It would be hard to describe Connor’s style as subtle. His idea of an explosive diversion is one that you walk straight through afterwards, and he’s startlingly unconcerned about dropping down directly in front of gun lines. See some of Connor’s more choreographed, but equally reckless moves in action in the E3 trailer below.

Crysis 3 E3 trailer features Psycho, Prophet, slow-mo nano bow

“It’s your call how you want to do this”, says Crysis 1/Crysis: Warhead veteran Psycho at the beginning of EA’s official Crysis 3 trailer. It’s a nod to critics of Crysis 2 who missed the original’s wide-open approach to combat: despite the return to New York City, Crysis 3 promises to bring back a bit of that freedom.
Freedom is represented here by a few different routes through an area, and there’s more emphasis on Prophet’s new penchant for archery than his various suit powers. Nontheless, Crytek’s ability to orchestrate massive environmental damage is still very much present and correct: if blowing up a dam is the kind of thing they’ll stick in the first trailer, hopefully there’s some truly vast crumbling mountain/flying park-style chaos waiting for us down the line.
